Camps

The ATC runs many week long camps for Air cadets at RAF stations across the country. These usually run during the Easter and Summer holidays and cost around £30, which includes food and board. The camps run activities such as

In addition to this, overseas camps to RAF Gibraltar, RAF Akrotri in cyprus and RAF Bruggen in Germany run throughout the year.

Llanbedr and Windermere

Week long adventure training courses are held at Llanbedr in Wales and Windermere in the Lake District each year. Activities include:
 
 
Rock Climbing
Abseiling
Gorge walking
Mountain biking
Caving
Hill walking
Canoeing
Campcraft
Orienteering

Garelochhead

At squadron level we organize weekend training camps at Garelochhead, a training base next to H.M. Naval Base Clyde. Here we organize activities such as hill walking, night exercises etc. The cost for these camps is approximately £12. Again, this covers activities, food and board.

International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE)
