• Practical help to the local community including fund-raising for other organizations
• Discussions of current affairs and local news.

Community knowledge is gained through visits/talks by representatives of community organizations including;

• Fire Service
• Police Service
• Hospital/Ambulance Service
• Local Government
• Air Traffic Control

Practical help is given to the community through our participation at events such as the Great Scottish Run where we man traffic gates with the help of the Police. Also we arrange fund-raising activities for charity, for example Comic Relief.

Discussions

Discussions are carried out in the form of bi-monthly debates with the subjects being chosen by the cadets themselves.
