Courses

Leadership courses

Each year the ATC runs leadership courses to develop the skills of it's cadets. These courses are run at RAF Halton, RAF Stafford and Frimley Park and last for one week. These courses give specialized training through leadership exercises, drill, outdoor activities, weapons training, and classes. At the end of the course you will be presented with an assessment of your course and, if you have passed, a certificate and badge.

Self Awareness Courses

Amport House and Caronvale House each run self-awareness courses throughout the year. These are designed to develop your confidence and therefore enable you to become a better leader. At the end of your course you will be presented with a certificate.

Specialized Courses

The Air Training Corps also has a number of special courses available which would otherwise be too expensive to take part in. These include courses such as:

Parachuting
Hang gliding
Outward Bound
Nordic Ski-ing
Off-shore Sailing
Microlight flying
 Sports Leader
Mountain Leader
Winter Training
 Canoeing
 Downhill Skiing
RAF Basic Winter Training

These courses last for 5-14 days and, on completion, you will be presented with a certificate of completion.

If you would like the opportunity of attending these courses, try our recruitment page for details on how to join.
